OK.  Let us start at the very beginning

The Key to music is, the Major Scale

The whole concept of the Musical Educator Slide Rule is based on this, the Major Scale

These examples on page 2 are about how to set the slide rule in any Key instantly

By sliding the insert so that the blue number 1, on the bottom line is above the note of G on the keyboard, means the slide rule is now set for the Key of G

Now by sliding the insert so that the blue number 1, on the bottom line is above the note of A on the keyboard, means the slide rule is now set for the Key of A

Yes, it is really that simple

If you want to set the slide rule to the Key of B, then just slide the insert so that the blue number 1, on the bottom line is now above the note of B on the keyboard, and your are now in the Key of B
